The benefits of Cinnamon for sufferers of Diabetes have been known for many years. But reading this article about Honey, I wondered if there is any knowledge here about a combination of Honey and Cinnamon for Diabetes. The down side of the Cinnamon use for Diabetes is that Cassia IS recommended for Diabetes.
But reading the article in full, it would appear that Honey has many other benefits than using plain Cinnamon mixed in hot milk. So I am inclined to use the honey if I can. Is counter recommended for diabetics? I also have Auto Immune Hepatitus hence my favour towards the above Honey mixes.
Any thoughts from the community here?

I had a bladder infection that did not respond to the prescribed antibiotic, so I tried your honey and cinnamon remedy. Bladder infection is still there, and after taking the remedy I spent the entire day extremely nauseated and with severe heartburn. Are you sure about the TWO TABLESPOONS of cinnamon?

it is true that cinnamon and honey is good for you. I do wish they would tell the full story and not just parts. the cinnamon we get in the stores is cinnamon cassia and that is toxic if you eat to much and really doesn't have any health benefits. You need the real cinnamon which comes from Ceylon!

The first paragraph states: Never boil honey or put it in a microwave. This will kill the enzymes in the honey.
But several of the suggestions say to put in boiling water, eg. for weight loss & longevity. Isn't putting it in boiling water equal to boiling?
Thanks

Hi, new guy here. Guy being the operative word here since the question I have seems to always go with the male gender. We like simple if possible. So with that in mind, what is the quickest and easiest way of consuming honey and cinnamon every day to get the full effect but not have to measure different amounts out. I like the honey and cinnamon on toast in the morning and the tea. Yet I notice some other variations in the combination of those 2 ingredients in order to address a specific need. Is there a "silver bullet" recipe that addresses most if not all needs?

Some of the honey containers say raw- pure honey or strained honey, does that make a difference?
